DFYIT / Heroin Kills

Hey students! There’s a cool new club at West Ranch. It is called DFYIT (pronounced de- fi –it). DFYIT stands for DRUG FREE YOUTH IN TOWN. It is a drug awareness and drug awareness and drug awareness and drug awareness and drug awareness and drug awareness and drug awareness and prevention program. DFY-IT is also collaboration between the District, the City of Santa Clarita, Los Angeles School District, and the County.
Are you all about supporting the development of healthy, productive drug-free youth? Are you interested in providing school based community service? Do you want to be a positive role model? Are you an advocate for a drug-free lifestyle? Have drugs affected your family or close friends in a negative way? Or are you interested in jazzing up your resume for college? If so, then joining DFYIT is for you. Every school in the William S. School District will have a DFYIT club. Of course, West Ranch will have the BEST club in the district. It’s all about anti-drug awareness. Members of this club will receive free t-shirts, wrist bands, field trip opportunities; must be drug-free and dedicated to the anti-drug education of their peers and families. Mrs. Sage is the advisor for this amazing club that is supported by the City of Santa Clarita. Members will meet twice/month in room 534.
The kick-off for this club is Wednesday, August 30th during lunch in front of the ASB Office. Please mark your calendars now.

Parking permits are available in the SRC (200 Bldg.) during tutorial, brunch and
lunch only.

Reminder:  Do not park without a valid permit. Vehicles improperly parked will be cited.

Parking privileges are extended to seniors and juniors of West Ranch High School who hold a valid California driver’s license. If the student has unpaid parking citations, the fines must be cleared prior to purchasing a new parking permit.

Parking pass applications will be sent home in the summer registration packet and are also available, during the year, in the SRC located in the 200 building.

How to purchase a Parking Permit:

  • Bring the WRHS Parking Permit form filled out with your parent’s signature on both sides of the form.
