Canyon Ace Mows Down Bulldogs The Cowboys pounded out 11 hits and starting pitcher Chris Gschwender struck out 14 Burbank batters en route to an easy 10-1 victory over the Bulldogs Friday at Canyon High. Gschwender took a no-hitter into the fourth inning and allowed just five hits to go along with two walks. “I pretty much expected that out of him,” Canyon coach Chuck Crim said of Gschwender’s performance. “You throw a pitcher like that against a team like that.
