teaching experience

Strong desire
to work with students at high school level

Willingness and
ability to work productively and enthusiastically with department and on an
academic team

Experience in
working with state standards, developing student-centered standards based
instruction, rubrics and performance assessments to stimulate student learning
o
Experience/willingness
to teach in a block/alternative scheduling format
o
Willingness to
implement and share interdisciplinary, organizational, and delivery activities
for student learning and staff development
o
Bilingual
background highly desirable. CLAD/BCLAD authorization preferred
o
Willingness to
coach or advise extra-curricular activities
