The William S. Hart Union High School District is located in the Santa Clarita Valley (map from Yahoo) in the northern part of Los Angeles County. Over 20,000 students are enrolled in the district’s 6 comprehensive high schools, a continuation school, middle college high school, independent study school, 6 junior high schools, an adult school and a Regional Occupational Program. Two of the district’s schools, Arroyo Seco Junior High and Golden Valley High have been named California Distinguished Schools, and have received the designation of National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. Bowman High School has been named a California Model Continuation School.
