Welcome to the spring quarter of Golden Oak Adult School.  Literacy and customer service are among my top priorities as Superintendent of the Hart School District, and Golden Oak does a good job of enhancing both areas.     By enrolling in adult school classes, you are also meeting another of the District’s goals—creating life-long learners.

In this brochure, there are classes designed to enrich your career skills and stimulate creative hobbies or personal interests.  You will also find programs for English language learners and those who want to work on earning a high school diploma or General Education Development test.  Job and life skills classes for disabled adults, and parenting skills for those raising toddlers are routinely offered.  The community-based English tutoring class  even provides childcare while parents improve their English and learn how to help their children with schoolwork.

Golden Oak is a true partnership between the Hart District and the community.  It gives us the opportunity to reach out to local residents who might not otherwise be involved with our community’s public schools.  We hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to enrich your life through ongoing learning.
