College of the Canyons is offering a huge summer schedule this year, and seats ARE available for concurrently enrolled high school students! Students can get a head start on college classes this summer. Earn college credit, while still in high school, by enrolling at College of the Canyons.

Hart School District elected school board member and past president, Paul Strickland, has tendered his resignation from the school board, with plans to move out of state in May. Strickland also resigned from the City of Santa Clarita Arts Commission, where he has served since December 2009 as a founding member and is the current chairman of the commission.

Special needs students from across the Hart School District will gather on the stadium field at Valencia High School for the 4rd annual Hart Games 2013 Track and Field Meet, on Wednesday, March 20, from 10 am to 1 pm. More than 325 students from throughout the SCV have been training and practicing and are expected to participate.
