Sequoia Charter School has planned its third annual Rummage Sale for Saturday, May 19 from 8 am - 1 pm at the school located at 21515 Centre Pointe Parkway in Santa Clarita. One hundred percent of the funds raised help pay for student field trips, school picnics, teacher appreciation days, campus beatification and other student programs. Last year, the sale raised $2,500 for the school and school officials are hoping to increase that goal this year.
Gently used electronics, furniture, toys, clothes, household items, tools, CDs, DVDs and books will be amongst many items for sale during this fund raiser.
Live music performed by a student band, Bushido Code, will entertain all visitors to the event. Sequoia students will also be selling student artwork and spirit wear.
The Santa Clarita Valley community is encouraged to drop by and support the rummage sale.
