Foothill League Athletic Eligibility Transfer Policy Print

A student who transfers from one comprehensive high school to another comprehensive high school, within the Foothill League, without a valid change of residence may have varsity eligibility for fall, winter, and spring sports at the new school of attendance, provided that the transfer request is received by the District prior to the close of the work day on July 31.  Approval of the transfer does NOT, in and of itself, ensure athletic eligibility.

On June 1, 2012, at 4:00a.m. 3 unidentified vandals destroyed a 40 year old (70' tall) pine tree using chainsaws at Canyon High School. Estimated damage of $20,000-$30,000. William S. Hart Union High School District needs your help!

COC Summer Institute Offering Unique Programs to 7th - 10th Graders Print

The College of the Canyons Summer Institute is open to Hart School District students entering the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth grades, this fall. The goal of the Institute is to provide hands-on career exploration and learning opportunities to students in a variety of areas and subjects including: culinary arts, robotics, motion picture special effects, video game design, sports medicine, welding and alternative energy fabrication.

Placerita Junior High Offering Summer Tech Camps Print

Placerita Junior High School is offering students two great tech-education camp opportunities this summer, in video production or LEGO robotics. Beginning camps are offered in two one-week sessions and the advanced camp is offered during a one-week session. The Kid Flix video production camp is open to Placertia students entering 7th or 8th grade in the fall. The Robotics camp is open to all students in the Hart School District ages nine to 14 years old.
