Answers to Frequently Asked Questions:

How can I find out my child's current grade?

Your child should bring home a GRADE STATUS REPORT periodically. This report shows the current grade and also lists any missing assignments. The GRADE STATUS REPORT should be signed by a parent or guardian and then returned the following Monday.   If you request one, we can also send a current GRADE STATUS REPORT via Email.

How do I find the homework assignments for the week?

Homework is posted at this website. Simply click on the teacher's name above to link to each teacher's page.

Students also record homework assignments in their Binder Reminders and on the Homework Logs for each individual class.

How do I know if my child is completing homework assignments?

Every Friday, beginning August 25th, your child will bring home a HOMEWORK LOG and all of their assignments from that week. The Homework Log lists each assignment and will have a stamp if the work was completed on time. If an assignment listed on the HOMEWORK LOG is not STAMPED your child did not complete the homework for that day.

Where can my child get extra help on assignments?

All teachers are available for individual student help. The student should arrange a time with their teacher before school, at brunch, at lunch, or after school.

How can I contact a teacher?

We will respond to e-mail the fastest, but you may also leave a message on our voicemail and we will return your call as soon as possible. You'll find links to our E-mail addresses at the top of this page. The school phone number is 661-250-0022.

How do I set up a parent-teacher conference?

Contact our counselor, Mrs. Rosa Bartolovich, at rbartolo@hartdistrict.org or 661-250-0022 to set up an appointment.
