Junior High AVID Application


Revolution Science

Welcome to La Mesa! The seventh grade science course at La Mesa Junior High covers the following topics: Lab Safety, Cell Biology, Genetics, Evolution & Earth History, Human Body Systems, and Reproductive Health. Each unit is centered in the California Science standards for the seventh grade. These standards can be found in the front of your science textbook. Standards covered in each chapter are listed at the beginning of the chapter in the text.

All absent work should be turned in to the Late Basket with the word ABSENT clearly printed on the top of the page.
