Dear Parents and Students:

Welcome to the Placerita Pacesetters Team. Our goal for this year is to have students take responsibility for their own academic growth and success. This includes development and use of organizational and study skills. To initiate this goal, we expect students to bring the provided student planner and the following materials everyday.

English: Mrs. Johnson
A separate “single subject”’ spiral notebook for journal writing
Pens - blue or black ink only
Pencils and 2 Red pens
A Pocket folder
A composition book

Science - Mrs. Schnittgrund
A separate quadrille ruled (graph paper) spiral or bound notebook
2 or more pens
2 or more pencils
Colored pencils
Ruler recommended
Calculator

History - Mr. Warling
A “peachy” or other “pocket” folder.
2 or more pens (blue or black ink only)
2 or more pencils (mechanical or regular)
2 red pens for making corrections
Lined paper
Colored pencils recommended
Ruler recommended
Highlighters recommended

NO LATE WORK in any classes except in the case of excused absences.

Student planners will be required in all team classes in order to help students achieve team goals. Please check your student’s planner on a regular basis. There is a section in the planner for parent comments on a daily basis. Feel free to use this section to communicate with teachers. It is the student’s responsibility to relay these messages to us.
