Behavior Program

Sequoia Charter School’s point and level system serves as the backbone for the structure of the school. All students admitted to the school are initially placed on level 2. Positive behavior is reinforced with higher levels and associated privileges. There are a total of 5 levels within the system. Students are responsible for a daily point sheet to be completed with staff. Students may earn 100 points per day along with bonus points to be “spent” for various items or activities. The point sheets also serve as a daily two-way communication with the student’s family or caregiver.
