Live Homework Help - www.librarytutor.org This is an on line tutoring program offered by the County of Los Angeles Public Libraries to Kindergarten through 12the grade. They offer help in Math, English, Social Studies and Science from 1:00pm - Midnight. Students must have a public library card. |
Students MUST have their I.D. cards to check out any textbook.
Upon receiving their books, students should examine their books and report any pre-existing damages on
their "Student Textbook Contract", which is available at the library. All contracts should be returned to the
library immediately after receiving the textbooks or the next day. Your student has been told if the contract is NOT returned, then it will be assumed that any damage found in the book was done by him/her. See the
sectionbelow on student contracts.
Students are responsible for the individual textbooks they check out and should not leave them lying around or loan them to their friends. If their book is taken, even from the classroom, they are responsible and may have to pay for the book. Textbooks can cost over $70.00 each.
All textbooks checked out at the beginning of the school year are due back to the library at the end of the school year. In the event that a student changes their math book or leaves school during the year, their books should be returned immediately.
If a student does not return a book or has outstanding fines, he/she will not be able to participate in the end of the year activities or receive his/her diploma. Textbooks will not be issued to the student in the next fall at any school in the
