Athletic Physicals - May 24th

Saugus High School will hold physical examinations by a qualified medical practitioner on Thursday, May 24th from 4:00 - 6:30 PM in Room A-102.  The cost is $25 with checks being made out To Dr. John De Lemos. All athletic physicals done for a 2011-12 sport will expire at the conclusion of the spring sport season.  Athletes enrolling in summer sports camps will need medical clearance prior to participation.  This clearance will remain in effect for the entire 2012-13 school year.

Saugus Signing Day

Saugus held a Signing Day ceremony with Sarah Blomgren (volleyball, University of South Carolina); Justin Donatella (baseball, University of California at San Diego); Megan Dawe (basketball, New York University); Breea Bergara (softball, Odessa College); Jessica McCall (cross country, San Diego State University); Jordan McCall (cross country, Westmont College); Jaclyn Clark (volleyball, San Francisco State); Katy Sonksen (swimming, University of Indianapolis); and Serena Smith-Banas (soccer, Texas Christian University).

Girls Cross Country Wins 6th Straight State Championship

Dynasty! - Saugus won its sixth straight state championship on Saturday November 26th at Woodward Park in Fresno. The Centurions stormed back from a 2nd place showing at the CIF Finals a week earlier to capture its unprecedented 6th State Title. Read more at The-Signal.com

Congratulations SHS Softball Foothill League Champions

The 2011 Varsity Centurion Softball team took care of business Wednesday afternoon by beating Golden Valley 20-3 in a 5-inning, mercey-rule game. The CIF-Southern Section Division 1 brackets will be released on May 16. For more on Thrusday's game, See The-Signal

2011 CIF SS Champions

Saugus shot 383 as a team and won the Northern Regional by nine strokes over West Ranch, the Foothill League champions at Soule Park Golf Club in Ojai.

Andrew Moore shot 71 and was one of four Saugus golfers who shot sub-80 rounds. Kevin Holzer shot 76, Connor Morris shot 77 and Tyler Larinto shot 79. Read More

Saugus Girls Track 2011 Foothill League Champions

Centurion girls flexed their depth and rolled past Canyon 92-44 at Saugus High School. Saugus (6-0, 5-0) swept the 400, 1,600 and 3,200, and its dominance on the track proved too much for Canyon to overcome. Read more at The-Signal.com
