SCHOOL START DATE - School begins on Thursday, August 13, 2009. The first bell rings at 7:40 am.

Summer Office Location - Below is a list of the office locations for Summer 2009. Due to construction, access to these offices may be limited. If coming to the campus please be very cautious of open trenches and construction machinery.

Room 202 - ASB, Attendance, Health office, and Custodians
Room 203 - Assistant Principal's Office
Room 204 - Registrar and Receptionist
Room 205 - Computer tech
Room 206 - Principal Crawford and Front Office

If you reach her voicemail, please be sure to clearly leave a phone number where you can be reached and repeat the number when leaving the message. Please note that Mrs. Hormann will be out of the office June 25th and 26th. She will have additional dates off in July (to be determined) that will be posted at a later date.
***Due to the modernization of the administration building it is critical that you call to make an appointment so she can direct you to the appropriate place for enrollment.

FALL REGISTRATION - Due to the modernization project taking place on the Sierra Vista Campus this summer it is very critical that everything possible is done to have your student at their scheduled time and date for registration.  In past years we have tried to be accommodating to various parent schedules whenever possible.  Unfortunately, due to modernization, we will need to strictly adhere to the scheduled times and coming early may cause additional wait time.  Please follow the provided time scheduling below (by last name).

August 5th - 8th Graders ONLY
August 6th - 7th Graders (8th graders may come BUT will have to wait until all 7th graders for that time slot have been processed first - this could GREATLY extend your wait time)

Alpha Schedule for BOTH dates:
A-G:  8-9:30 a.m.
H-0:  9:30-10:45 a.m.
P-Z:  10:45-12 noon

A parent or friend CANNOT go through the process for you; the student MUST be present.  While it may prove very helpful to have an adult present, it is not necessary.  However, there are very important forms that will come in your summer mailer that the student must have signed and completed or they will not be allowed to go through the registration process.  If you have moved over the summer, please be sure your correct address is on file with our registrar or you will not receive the mailer.  The summer mailer will be mailed out during the week of July 13th.  If you need further information, please contact our registrar.

CELL PHONES – Students are not allowed to use cell phones in any of the buildings. Student phones will be taken away if used inappropriately. Phones may be used before school, brunch, lunch and after school as long as they are used out side of all  school buildings.  This includes the library and office unless special permission is given by a Sierra Vista Staff member.  We appreciate your support of this policy.
