Computer Rules: Before you log on to a computer on campus, you must read the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) in your binder reminder. These rules are also available by clicking HERE.

Student E-Mail

Your student e-mail account is found at this Web site:  http://webmail.hartdistrict.org/mail/

The user ID is your 8 digit ID number (without the graduation year).

Your first time password is your 6 digit birthday.  Once you're in your e-mail account, you should change the password from your birthday to the secrect password that you use to log on to the computer. To do this, click on "Settings" then "Accounts" then "Modify." Delete the asterisks on both lines and type in your new password that you create. Be certain to write it down. On this same screen, you may type in a home e-mail address as a back-up in case you forget your password. This can be your parents' e-mail address.

If you forget your e-mail password, you can click on "forgot your password" on the login screen. Put in your e-mail address and the letters/numbers you see on the screen. Your password will then be mailed to the backup e-mail address that you added when you changed your password. If you still need help with your password for e-mail, see Mrs. Fulleman at the library with your ID card.

Your e-mail address is your 8 digit ID number plus @hart.k12.ca.us
        For example:   98000000@hart.k12.ca.us

How to send an attachment with your e-mail - CLICK HERE for instructions.

Please note that the only e-mail available on campus is your student e-mail. All other providers such as hotmail, yahoo, sbcglobal, etc. are blocked by our computer's filter.

Delete un-needed e-mails on a regular basis. You have 10 megabytes of storage in your e-mail.
