Mrs. Sirchia has been teaching for 19 years, all 8th grade math.  She transferred to SV 11 years ago from Millikan Middle School.  In her career Mrs. Sirchia has  professionally served as department chair, team leader, mentor teacher, testing coordinator, math coach and student success coordinator.  She has been married for 24 years and has two sons, ages 18 and 23.  She enjoys spending time with family and 3 horses, walking the dogs, camping and working out. She LOVES animals and has many.

Mrs. Lennarz has been teaching since 1999 and joined the Sierra Vista staff in 2003. She teaches seventh grade math. She has two daughters, ages 14 and 12, and two cats. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, reading and baking. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies, with a CLAD emphasis and a Supplementary Authorization in mathematics. She earned her Master's Degree in Educational Counseling in 2010.

Mrs. Baker has been teaching for 19 years (18 of those at SV) and has taught all levels of math, including geometry and sheltered math classes.  This year she is teaching 8th grade math classes.  She holds degrees in Spanish, mathematics, and education from COC and CSUN.  Not only has she taught math, but she has also held positions as department chair and master teacher.  She the mother of two boys, Brendan (19) and Preston (15).  Mrs. Baker enjoys golfing, reading, playing sports with her kids, grabbing a Starbucks latte occasionally, and going out to eat.  At one time, she was a magician's assistant!

Mrs. Skoczylas has been teaching for 24 years, 19 of which have been here at Sierra Vista. She has taught many subjects including English,Teen Issues, and pre-algebra, but she is currently teaching 7th grade math. During her teaching career, she has been Department Chair, a mentor teacher, Comp. Ed coordinator, Honor Society facilitator, and has been honored as being Sierra Vista's Teacher of the Year. She also runs Sierra Vista's community service club, SiViCS. She graduated from UCLA in 1986, and has been married to Gabe (another UCLA graduate) for 30 years. She has one daughter, Jill, who is also a Bruin. In her free time, she likes to snow ski, play tennis, read, and watch UCLA football and basketball.

Twelve years ago, Mrs. Henry began her teaching career at Sierra Vista.  She attended COC, Arizona State University, and CSUN to complete her various degrees.  She has been married for 15 years and has three children, Justin (13), Kaitlyn (11), and Brooke (5). She grew up in the Santa Clarita Valley but has also lived in Texas and Arizona. Mrs. Henry attended Rio Vista Elementary School, Arroyo Seco Jr. High and Saugus High School. She loves the beach, camping and baseball.

Mrs. Stanhope has been teaching for 23 years and completed her degree at CSUN.  She currently teaches 8th grade math.  She enjoys hiking, golfing, scrapbooking, gardening and spending time with family and friends.  Mrs. Stanhope and her husband like to travel and are working on their goal of visiting all the National Parks!

Mrs. Kathlee Coleman – 8th Algebra, Math 8, and Journalism

Mrs. Coleman has been teaching at Sierra Vista for 16 years.  Currently she teaches 8th grade math classes and journalism, but has in the past taught many different classes including English, keyboarding, study skills, and pre-algebra.  She graduated from The Master’s College in 1996 with a degree in English and completed her credentialing in mathematics at CSUN in 1999.  Mrs. Coleman also works as the webmaster for SV.  She has been married for 15 years and has a 11 year old son named Paul.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and hanging out with friends..
