COMPUTER APPLICATIONS |
Computer Applications is a course designed to help develop the fundamentals of MS Office 2007 using Windows as the operating system, and to develop basic keyboarding and computer skills. We will focus on MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and keyboarding skills. This class will acquaint you with the proper way to solve word-processing problems, illustrate practical applications and presentations. Assignments will be individual and team based. |
Project #1 Presidents: Create a spreadsheet of the 44 United States Presidents. SAVE the file and name it "Presidents". Make sure to have headers, and that all information goes in seperate cells. List how old when he was elected, his favorite food, and political party. Also was he elected to office? Did he die in office? Was he Vice President first? What was his home state? Did he have pets in the White House? Was he elected to a second term? practice sorting this table. Project #2 business spreadsheet. Project #3 Million dollars Set up a spread sheet where you spend $1million dollars on at least 10 items. Include sales tax of 8.25%. You must spend exactly $1 million dollars, to the exact penny. Create a pie cahrt of your final results. Test
