Tara Brown Honored with Prestigious Outstanding Leadership in Education Award

Santa Clarita, CA - The Hart District is proud to announce that Tara Brown, Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, has been recognized with the Outstanding Leadership in Education Award. This distinguished honor was presented by the California Association of African American Superintendents and Administrators (CAAASA) in collaboration with the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA).

The award celebrates educational leaders who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to student success, equity, and systemic innovation. Mrs. Brown was selected for her transformative work in holistic student support and her dedication to breaking down barriers for underrepresented communities.

Mrs. Brown’s leadership has been instrumental in redefining the district’s approach to student well-being. By strategically aligning counselors, social workers, and wellness centers, her work has expanded mental health access across the district.
