Sierra Vista Heroes Make a Difference

Teachers at Sierra Vista Junior High School in Canyon Country spent their first full day back on the job in professional development as they collaborated in a unique day as Super Heroes.

School Year 2017-18 Public Media Release for Free and Reduced-Price Meals

SANTA CLARITA, Calif – The William S. Hart Union High School District announces its policy to serve nutritious meals every school day under the National School Lunch Program and/or School Breakfast Program. Effective July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018, children are eligible for free or reduced-price meals if the household income is less than or equal to the federal guidelines.

Do You Know a Child with Special Needs?

The Santa Clarita Valley SELPA actively encourages parents or community members who know of a child (birth to age 22) who may have special needs to contact their local school district office.

WiSH Education Foundation has donated over $50,000 to Hart District Programs this year with more to come!

WiSH is proud to have had another successful academic year of giving to the students in the Wm. S. Hart Union High School District. Every school in the district benefits from WiSH funding to various programs; support this year has included Literacy, STEM Equipment, Special Education, MakerSpace Projects, Athletic Trainer Program and Music Programs, among others. This academic year, WiSH has directed nearly $52,000 to our district student programs with other programs still slated to be funded.

Keyne Named New Principal of Arroyo Seco Junior High School

SANTA CLARITA, Calif – Canyon High School assistant principal Dr. Andy Keyne has been named the new principal of Arroyo Seco Junior High School. Keyne will take over for Rhondi Durand who is retiring after leading the school for 14 years.

Ferry Named New Principal of Saugus High School

SANTA CLARITA, Calif – Rio Norte Junior High School principal Vince Ferry has been named the new principal of Saugus High School. Ferry will take over for Bill Bolde who is retiring after leading the school for 14 years.
