Santa Clarita, CA — The William S. Hart Union High School District Governing Board unanimously approved several key administrative appointments for the upcoming school year. These veteran educators bring a wealth of district knowledge to their new positions, offering deep insight shaped by their varied experiences as teachers, administrators, district parents, and alumni.
Jason d’Autremont Named Director of Human Resources: Bringing extensive administrative experience to the district office, Mr. d’Autremont steps into the role of Director of Human Resources. Having served as special education math teacher and coach at Hart High School, assistant principal at Hart and Canyon high schools, principal at Canyon, and most recently as principal at Hart for the last 8.5 years, he brings an invaluable understanding of site-level and district-wide needs.
John Turner Appointed Principal of Hart High School: Moving from Placerita Junior High School, where he has served as principal for the last 8.5 years, Mr. Turner is a familiar face to the Hart High School community. Prior to his leadership at Placerita, he served as an assistant principal at Hart. With Placerita feeding into Hart, his appointment offers exceptional continuity for incoming and current families.
Kyra Madsen Returns as Principal of Placerita Junior High School: Currently an assistant principal at Hart High School, Kyra Madsen will make a seamless return to Placerita as its new principal. Mrs. Madsen is a Saugus High School alumna. She previously served at Placerita for 7 years as an assistant principal, making her return a natural homecoming for both staff and families.
Loni Anderson Named Principal of Sierra Vista Junior High School: Demonstrating deep roots within the Sierra Vista community, Loni Anderson has been appointed as the school's new principal. Ms. Anderson is also a Hart District alumna, graduating from Hart High School. She served as an English teacher at Sierra Vista Junior High and Golden Valley High School, assistant principal at Canyon High School, and most recently as assistant principal at Sierra Vista. Her experience at Sierra Vista has given her a deep understanding of the school’s culture, instructional goals, and student body.
